An EOR is a business that legally employs an individual on behalf of another company. This can be within the same country or internationally. The EOR takes on full responsibility for compliance, contracts, salaries, payroll, taxes, benefits, and more.

Agile Partnering acts as a third-party employer of contract workers, handling the administration, paperwork, and responsibilities related to payroll, including taxes. This includes providing benefits and carrying necessary insurances.

With an EOR, the provider becomes the sole legal employer of the individual, whereas a PEO operates with a co-employment arrangement with their clients. EORs, such as Agile Partnering, often include insurance as part of their service, while an additional charge is typically accrued when establishing insurance with a PEO. Agile offers a unique embedded funding model for the staffing industry, which allows staffing firms to leverage their end clients credit to grow their own business.  The way it works is simple - the staffing firm assigns the funds owed for placements to Agile, and Agile will fund the entire payroll and provide gross margin only payments to its clients.  It's similar to factoring, but it's different in that it is provided by the EOR. This option is ideal for companies that don’t want to use their own cash to float payroll.
